GAC Tourney Brackets Are Set
NCAA Division II basketball is back in Bartlesville.
The Great American Conference Tournament is set to begin this week at Bruin Fieldhouse. This is the sixth annual GAC Tourney – as 16 teams, eight on the men's side and eight on the women's side will embark on Bartlesville for the four-day event.
Games start at noon on Thursday.
The brackets were officially set after the regular season finale for the GAC over the weekend. Former Bartlesville Lady Bruin standout Hailey Tucker returns home with Southwestern Oklahoma State. The Lady Bulldogs are the three-seed on the women’s side of the bracket – they will play at 2:15 on Friday afternoon for their first-round game. GAME 1: Thursday, March 2 - 2:15 PM: No. 2 Arkansas-Monticello vs No. 7 Harding
GAME 2: Thursday, March 2 - 8:00 PM: No. 1 East Central vs No. 8 Henderson State
GAME 3: Friday, March 3 - 5:45 PM: No. 4 Southern Nazarene vs No. 5 Ouachita
GAME 4: Friday, March 3 - 8:00 PM: No. 3 Arkansas Tech vs No. 6 Southern Arkansas
