High School Whip Around 8-16
Unfortunately Bartlesville High’s first home softball game against Bixby had to be called off because of the inclement weather on Tuesday evening, but BHS did have its first varsity home event in volleyball.
Bartlesville volleyball fell to Broken Arrow in straight sets last night at Bruin Field House. BA topped BHS 25-13, 25-21 and 25-18.
Bartlesville is 0-3 against tough competition to open up the year. The Bruins will be back at it during an event at Regent Prep over the weekend.
Bartlesville softball will be made up at a time to-be-determined.
Elsewhere in local softball last night: Dewey fell to Woodland 7-6. Nowata and Oklahoma Union’s games were both rained out.
No high school action on Wednesday across Northeast Oklahoma, fall sports will restart again on Thursday.
