Dewey Hosts Claremore-Sequoyah in Midweek Game

The Dewey Bulldoggers are set to continue the midweek football madness on Tuesday with a battle against Claremore-Sequoyah. Dewey is playing with three days of rest after a shocking shutout loss to Rejoice Christian last Friday.

The Doggers enter with a four-game losing streak, the worst stretch since the middle of the 2018 season. Dewey is 0-3 in district. The Eagles represent a challenge as they are undefeated in district. This comes after losing 22 straight games at one point over a period from 2017 to 2019.

Dewey put together its lowest offensive output of the 2020 season against Rejoice. Head coach Trent Turner says some new wrinkles should help them tonight.

Dewey is fighting for a home game in the first round of the playoffs. With a lighter schedule starting after this game a win is imperative if the Doggers want to avoid traveling. Coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. on KRIG 104.9 FM.
