Huskies Looking for Revenge Against Hominy

The Pawhuska Huskies went perfect in district play and locked up the number one seed in Class A-5 heading into the playoffs this week. This will set up a rematch with the Hominy Bucks, a team that the Huskies fell to in non-district play, 33-31. Moments after Friday night’s regular season finale against Ketchum, Coach Matt Hennesy said that the team had hoped to see the Bucks one more time this year.

Playmakers Dalton Hurd and Jack Long missed the first game with Hominy due to injury. Hennesy acknowledges having those two on the field could have made a difference, but credits the Bucks for making plays at the right times.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. this Friday from Ormond-Beach Memorial Stadium. Pregame coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
