Huskies Ready for Second Round Test in Colcord

It is the third straight year in which the Pawhuska Huskies have made the second round of the Class A state playoffs. As the Huskies head into Friday night's game against Colcord, they look to advance to the quarterfinals for a third year in a row as well. In order to do that, Coach Matt Hennesy says his team will have to be prepared for an athletic quarterback in Stormy Odle.

Hennesy went on to say that Pawhuska will face the most physical tight end they have seen all season long. Hennesy added that from what he has seen on film, the Hornets will play man-coverage, which he believes is an advantage to Pawhuska. Hennesy said he won't be surprised if they throw some sort of wrinkle in the mix, though.

Friday's second round match-up with Colcord is scheduled for 7 p.m. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
