Indians Fall To Glendale

The bats were cold for Bartlesville Friday night as Glendale shuts out the Indians 5-0 in the Glen Winget Tournament at Doenges Stadium.

It was a pitchers duel between Bartlesville's Corey Murphy and Glendale's Alex Austin.  Both pitchers went the distance with Austin picking up the win while Murphy suffered his third loss on the mound, dropping his recored to 3-3 on the year.  In seven innings of work, Murphy gave up five runs on six hits, walked one, and struck out four.  Glendale scored three of their five runs in the top of the seventh while the Indians committed two of their three errors in the same inning.  Bartlesville managed just three hits. Two of the hits were Brady Kokojan and the other hit was Gensen Streets.  

The Indians fall to 16-11 this season and 1-1 in pool play.  Bartlesville will wrap up pool play against Ark City Saturday evening at 7 o'clock.
