Indian's Final Home DH on Wednesday

Wednesday will be the final regular season home double-header for the Doenges Ford Indian’s, as Bartlesville’s summer baseball team will host the Three River’s Bandits once again.

The Indian’s are winless thus far against Three Rivers. Bartlesville has not played in more than a week, after the Indian’s had their games against these same Bandits rained out this past Wednesday.

Bartlesville is 3-25-1 thus far in 2019, with only six games left before the Oklahoma Legion State Tournament, which is slated to start on Thursday, July 25.

The Indian's have played better baseball of late, with one of their three wins coming in their most recent double-header against Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Much of the improved play has to do with good plate appearances.

Bartlesville has raised its batting average by about 30 points over the past four weeks. The Indian’s now have three players hitting well above .300 in Hayden Wood, Cole Ellis and Shawn Sutton.

Sutton still leads the way with an outrageous .414 batting average.

First pitch at 6:00 PM on Wednesday for the double-header, which will air on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
