The Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians got off to a good start in the Winget Tournament Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Free State of Lawrence, Kansas.  Bartlesville scored a run in the bottom of the first and scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 3-0 lead.  Free State would come back with a run on two doubles in the top of the sixth inning, and left the bases loaded in the top of the seventh to fall short.  Logan Reese got the win on the mound as he improved to 3-3 for the season.  In six innings of work, Reese gave up a run on three hits and struck out two.  Josh Louthan got his first save of the year as he came in the top of the seventh.  Brady Sewell, Tyler Yardley, Chase Fiddler, Will McDaniel, Bo McSpadden, and Jacob Ruiz each got a hit.

The Indians are 15-15 overall and will take on Springfield Hillcrest Friday night at 7 o'clock.  You can hear the game on KWON 1400 AM and 93.3 FM.
