The Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians came from behind to beat Springfield Hillcrest 11-10 Saturday morning, a game that lasted 12 hours and 41 minutes in the first round of the Winget Tournament.

The game resumed Saturday morning with two outs in the top of the fifth inning when the 69 ers took an 8-4 lead.  The Indians scored five runs to regain the lead, and scored a run in the eighth to lead 10-8.  Hillcrest scored two runs to tie the game at 10, thanks to a Bartlesville error.  Sam Walker hit a game winning RBI single that brought home Josiah Gott to give the Indians the victory.  Will Hefner, in relief of starter Logan McNeil, picked up the win on the mound.  In over two innings of work, Hefner gave up two runs and walked two.  Walker went 3 for 5 with four RBI's while Josiah Gott and Logan McNeil had two hits.  Chase Fiddler, Braden Beasley, Trevor Doyle, Will Hefner, and Bryce Short each had a hit.

The Indians improve to 16-9 overall this season.  Bartlesville will take on Rogersville Saturday night around 9 o'clock.  You can hear the game on KWON 1400 AM and 93.3 FM.
