The Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians began the 2015 season Saturday night spliting with Three Rivers losing the first game 3-2 and coming back strong in the second game with a 8-0 victory.

In the first game, the bats were cold for Bartlesville as they managed just four hits.  Three Rivers would take advantage of an Indian error in the top of the seventh to win 3-2.  Joe Jones pitched well for Bartlesville and got a no decision.  In over five innings of work, Jones gave up two runs on five hits, walked three, and struck out six.  Corey Murphy came in relief in the top of the sixth and got the loss, giving up a run on one hit, walked one, and struck out one.  Brady Sewell went 2 for 3 at the plate with a RBI while Logan McNeil and Chase Fiddler each got a hit.

The bats got hot for Bartlesville in the second game as they run-ruled the Bandits.  The Indians scored five of their eight runs in the bottom of the third inning to get their first win of the season.  Brady Kokojan got the win on the mound as he pitched a two-hit shutout and struck out seven batters.  Trevor Doyle led the Indians going 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 RBI's while Kokojan went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's.  David Wiseman, Bryce Short, Derek Hill, and Chase Hayes each got a hit.

Both teams will play a Sunday doubleheader at Doenges Stadium starting at Noon.
