Survive and advance.  That was the key for the Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians as they faced Three Rivers in an elimination game at the State Legion Baseball Tournament in Byng.  The Indians survived with a 7-5 win over the Bandits.

Three Rivers took a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the third and the Indians stormed back, scoring six runs to take a 6-2 lead and held on the lead for the rest of the game.  Corey Murphy was outstanding on the mound as he struck out 14 batters to improve to 9-2 overall this season.  Murphy went the distance and gave up five runs on five hits and walked four.  At the plate, Logan McNeil went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI's while Sam Walker, Chase Fiddler, Zac Boyes, Braden Beasley, and Brady Sewell each got a hit.

The Indians are now 28-15 overall and will play Saturday afternoon at 5 against the winner of the Ardmore/Ada A's game.  You can hear the game on KWON 1400 AM, 93.3 FM, and on-line at www.bartlesvilleradio.com.
