Jason Sport Show Previews Choctaw

Bartlesville head football coach Jason Sport joined us for his final weekly radio show of the year on Wednesday night, as the Bruins will have their season finale on Friday night at home against Choctaw.

The Bruins have been markedly better on offense the past few weeks.

After averaging less than 180-yards through the first six games, BHS has had more than 350 yards each of its last three games. Both running back Austin Zink and wide receiver Gage Keaton have come alive during that span. Keaton had eight catches for 165 yards and a touchdown last week.

Sport talks about what makes his No. 1 senior wide out so successful.

The Bruins will go with the freshman Nate Neal at quarterback again on Friday night, and both he and Keaton will have to be sharp.

Choctaw might be the second-best team in 6A-II outside of Bixby. The Yellowjackets are 7-2 on the year and will wrap up the No. 2 seed in the district with a win on Friday night.
