Justus Had a Special Year Coaching at Pawhuska
As reported on Monday, former Pawhuska boys’ basketball coach Talby Justus has been named the girls basketball coach at Bartlesville High.
Justus, who spent just one season in Pawhuska, enjoyed his time there and said it was a very special team to coach.
In addition to serving as the boys’ basketball coach, Justus also served as co-athletic director with Daniel McEntire. At Monday evening’s school board meeting, McEntire was appointed to serve in that role fulltime. Superintendent David Cash wished Justus well and said they will begin looking for applicants quickly.
This will mark the third boys basketball coach Pawhuska has had in the last three years.
