KWON Coaches Breakfast on Saturday
KWON's big high school basketball preview show, Coach’s Breakfast Broadcast, is coming up this Saturday morning on AM 1400 and FM 93.3..
We are about two weeks away from most high schools starting their basketball seasons. Bartlesville High is undergoing a changing of the guard on the hardcourt, as both the Lady Bruins and Bruins lost some major seniors off last year’s club.
The Bruin guys lose the scoring duo of Tayo Dina and Jaylin Oliver, while the Lady Bruins lose one of their most decorated players of all time in Jena’ Williams.
On the ladies side, there are a few more returners, with Pittsburg State signee Chloe Martin back, along with Elise and Mary Cone, Erika Gruber and others. In addition to carrying a bulk of the scoring load, Martin will likely be expected to be a leader during her senior campaign.
We will have more from Martin and Bruin head coach Clent Stewart throughout the week and on Saturday morning, just after 7:00 AM it will be our KWON Coach’s Breakfast from Eggberts off HWY 75 in Bartlesville.
