Lady Eagles Fall At Bellevue
After taking care of Central Baptist Thursday afternoon, Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles took on top seed Bellevue in the MCAC Tournament. Lady Bruins needed one run to shut out OKWU to advance in the championship round. The final score ended up 1-0 to Bellevue.
The Lady Eagles only had one hit and that was a single by Desiree Cavazos. Jenna Daniel took the loss on the mound to fall to 15-11 on the year. In seven innings of work, Daniel gave up a run on three hits and struck out seven Bellevue batters.
OKWU will face Central Baptist Friday at Noon in the elimination game. The winner faces Bellevue in the championship game at 2:30 Friday afternoon.
