Local HS Football Playoff Picture
With high school football playoffs approaching, district standings become vital.
Dewey has already clinched a playoff spot in 3A, while Nowata is in a pretty good spot in 2A. Bartlesville has a bit of work to do in 6A.
Nowata still controls its own destiny, as the Ironmen host Oklahoma Union on Nov. 4. Bartlesville will need a little help and at least one win over either Sand Springs or Booker T.
The Bruins host Sand Springs Friday for senior night.
The Dewey Bulldoggers are 3-1 in district play with two games remaining in 3A District 5.
The top four district teams make the playoffs.
