Long Distance Still Leads Way for Bruin Track
Most high schools across Osage, Washington and Nowata counties are off for spring break, so there is still not much in the way of high school sports this week.
Bartlesville High track and field, as BHS has shown to have a deeper team this spring than in year’s past. Bartlesville is still reaping the rewards of a strong cross country program, as long distance running takes center stage for the track team as well. Here is Bartlesville head track coach Bon Bennett.
As Bennett mentioned, both Rigdon and Martinez are two of the most decorated runners in Bartlesville High history.
BHS track and field is next in action a week from Friday, March 30, during a meet in Claremore.
