Accolades continue to pile up for Oklahoma Wesleyan slugger Cody Muncy. The Eagles designated hitter was named the NAIA Ball Player of the Year for his phenomenal 2021 season. Last week, Muncy was named an NAIA 1st Team All-American.

Muncy led the nation in RBIs and total bases. Finished 2nd nationally in hits and 4th in batting average, doubles, home runs, and slugging percentage. Muncy has punished pitchers during his almost two year stint at OKWU. In 88 games over the last two years, Muncy has 146 hits, 133 runs batted in and 39 home runs.

NAIA Ball is a social media outlet whose coverage is solely dedicated to NAIA baseball. Muncy was on their preseason watch list for best NAIA baseball player. Muncy just wrapped up his junior campaign in Bartlesville and is expected back next season.
