No Bruin Baseball Monday

The Bartlesville baseball game that was scheduled at Pryor for Monday afternoon has been cancelled.

The cancelation sets up BHS hosting Sapulpa on Tuesday at 7:00 as its next baseball game.  The Bruins will also play a make-up game on Thursday at Booker T. Washington. Bartlesville's game at Booker T. was rained out on March 3. The game will be played at 4:00 in Tulsa.

The Bruins are coming off a 6-0 week, completely flipping the script on the young season. BHS was 1-4 after three losses during its Spring Break trip in Arizona. But Bartlesville rattled off wins over Muskogee and Sand Springs early in the week, before going 4-0 in its own Bruin Classic.

Bartlesville's offense came alive over the week, scoring 52 runs, while allowing only 12. The numbers are skewed a bit, thanks to the 22-run explosion the Bruin's had against Muskogee.

Chase Fiddler and AJ Archambo have both been the major catalysts in the offense. Both players are hitting over .400. They are a combined 27-58 on the season with nine extra-base hits.

BHS starts district play in a week, playing at Ponca City on April 6.

KWON will have the broadcast of Bartlesville hosting Sapulpa on Tuesday evening, with pregame starting around 6:50.

Here is the full broadcast schedule of Bartlesville baseball on KWON.
