Nowata Faces OCS In 2A Semi-Finals

The Nowata Ironmen will be in action Friday night in the Class 2A semi-finals at Owasso as they will take on Oklahoma Christian School Saints.  The Saints are coming into Friday night's game after a 35-25 victory at Colcord.  OCS is averaging 41.3 points per game while giving up 10.3 points per game.  The Saints are a spread offensive team, and according to Nowata Ironmen head football coach Matt Hagebusch, Nowata's secondary will be challenged.   Nowata is playing in the 2A semi-finals for the first time since 1999.  Both teams are 13-0.  The Ironmen are coming into Friday night's game after a 42-35 victory at Washington.  Kickoff is set for 7 o'clock.  You can hear Friday night's game starting at 6:30 on KRIG 104.9 FM and on bartlesvilleradio.com, just click on KRIG.  Adam Hooper and Tim Howell will have the call.  The winner will play the winner of the Davis-Hennessey game next week for the Class 2A State Championship.
