Nowata Preparing For 2015 Football Season

The Nowata Ironmen have been practicing since Monday as so far everything has gone well to prepare for the upcoming season.  Last season, Nowata finished at 14-1 and advanced to the Class 2A State Championship game.  Players who had little experience last season will get the opportunity to contribute more this season.  Ironmen head football coach Matt Hagebusch.  The huge question this season is who is going to start at quarterback.  Junior Cody Smith has been given the opportunity and according to Hagebusch, fans will be surprised.

Nowata opens up their 2015 season on Friday, August 28th as they will host Vian.
