The Oklahoma Coach’s Association All-State games are going on this week in the Tulsa area.

A few former Bartlesville Bruins are getting set to compete, it will be their last go-around as high school athletes. BHS graduate and Oral Roberts Golden Eagle baseball player AJ Archambo will compete in the Large School's baseball all-state game on Tuesday evening.

Archambo wrapped up his illustrious athletic career at BHS this past spring. He was originally picked to compete in the all-state football game, but since he is set to play division one baseball, he will compete on the diamond instead. Here is Bartlesville High Athletic Director Ryan Huff.

Archambo hit .376 with two home runs and 21 RBIs for Bruin baseball team this past fall. He had signed with Oral Roberts to continue his baseball career earlier in the school year.

Archambo’s numbers didn’t just shine on the diamond. He led Bartlesville in receiving on the football field as well. AJ caught 66 passes for 1,143 yards and 16 touchdowns – for which he earned the all-state selection.

He will play for the Large East team on Tuesday night.

The game will be played in his future home, Oral Robert’s Johnson Stadium. First pitch at 6:00.
