OKWU Controls Own Destiny in KCAC

Going into the last week of the regular season, all of Oklahoma Wesleyan's goals remain entact. 

The Eagles officially control their own destiny in the Kansas Colligiate Athletic Conference with three games left on the conferene docket, and four overall. 

OKWU (44-5) won two out of three at Southwestern this past weekend. The Eagles lost game one on Thursday, 6-5 in tough fasion, but bounced back. OKWU won the double-header on Friday 5-2 and 3-0.

The wins and subsequent losses from Tabor and Friends have put Wesleyan in the drivers seat for a conference championship. OKWU (22-5) leads Tabor by one game and Friends by two games with three to play. 

Oklahoma Wesleyan will wrap up the regular season with a non-conference matchup against Mid-America Christian on Tuesday at noon. Ottawa comes to town for the final KCAC series of the season starting on Friday. 

Ottawa is 16-23 on the year, 13-13 in KCAC play.
