The Oklahoma Wesleyan Men’s soccer team is set for a national quarterfinals matchup with St. Thomas (FL) on Thursday at 5 p.m. The Eagles have become a mainstay in the late rounds of the NAIA National Tournament in recent years.

A win would mark the deepest run for the Eagles in a handful of years and a chance to play in the national semifinals. OKWU head coach Jamie Peterson always knew this team had top-tier talent.

The Eagles took a two week break after defeating Briar Cliff 4-0 on April 24 and Lincoln 2-0 on April 22. OKWU has won six consecutive matches and has only allowed four goals in the process.

St. Thomas is 14-5 on the season and had to get past Mid-America Christian 1-0 in the play-in round on Tuesday. The match will be in Columbia County, Georgia.
