Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams played their final home games of the season Saturday night as they took on Sterling College.  The Eagles ended their home season with an 86-58 win over the Warriors while the Lady Eagles lost their fourth straight to the Lady Warriors 79-69.

The Lady Eagles struggles continued including poor shooting and getting out rebounded.  At first, OKWU looked like they may end the home season with a win.  The Lady Eagles led as many as 11 points in the first half and that's when the Lady Warriors came back.  OKWU led at halftime 38-31 and got outscored 48-31 in the second half.  Lady Eagles shot 28 percent and shot 26 percent from the 3-point line.  Susan Agesen led the Lady Eagles with 16 points and 11 rebounds while Kayla Morgan added 13 points.  Hailey Davis led Sterling with a game high 20 points.  Lady Eagles fall to 16-12 overall and 10-8 in KCAC play.

The Eagles posted another wonderful team effort, just like against McPherson College on Thursday evening.  OKWU led throughout the game.  As a team, the Eagles shot 50 percent from the field and out rebounded the Warriors 41-30.  The win finished OKWU's home record to 11-5 this season.  CJ Ross led the Eagles with 16 points while Jake Feickert added 13 points.  Shaq Martin came off the bench and finished with 11 points and Breiman Alexander added 10 points.  Brandon Givens led Sterling College with 17 points.  The win improves the Eagles record to 13-14 overall and 8-10 in KCAC play.

Both the Eagles and Lady Eagles next games will be Thursday night at St. Mary's.  Ladies play at 6 while the Men will play at 8 o'clock.
