OKWU Sweeps MCAC Honors

For the first time this season, Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles sweeps Midland Collegiate Athletic Conference honors.  David Espinoza has been named MCAC baseball player of the week and Aaron Garner has been named MCAC pitcher of the week.

Espinoza led the Eagles to a 5-1 record by hitting .556 (10-18) with seven runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, and seven RBI's.  

Garner tossed a complete two-hit shutout in the Eagles 3-0 victory at Bellevue.

The Eagles are 37-8 overall and 16-4 in the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference.  OKWU is ranked 8th in the NAIA and number one in the NCCAA poll.
