The sixth ranked OKWU baseball team had its run in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament come to an end last night after a 6-3 loss to Ottawa. Isaac Wersland went two of three from the plate with two RBIs and started the game with a solo home run.

As the number one seed, OKWU started the tournament with a 6-5 victory over Bethany College before falling to McPherson College in walkoff fashion. Earlier on Friday, the Eagles jumped on top of Kansas Wesleyan 9-0 before cruising to a 25-2 victory. Cody Muncy, Nick Chavez, Danny Perez, Isaac Wersland, Remy Patry and Estefferson Melean all had home runs in that contest.

The Eagles will now look ahead to Thursday to see who they will play in the opening rounds of the national tournament.
