Pawhuska to Face Cashion in Semifinals
Pawhuska football has advanced into the Class A semifinals, as the Huskies got past Elmore City on Friday night quite easily. Pawhuska topped the Badgers, 47-0.
The game was over almost as soon as it started. The Huskies were up 40-0 at halftime. They got two defensive scores on the night. A pick-six from Mason Gilkey and a scoop and score from John Reed.
As mentioned, now Pawhuska sets its sights on Cashion. Cashion was a big winner over Woodland in the quarterfinals, setting up a rematch and possible revenge game on Friday for Pawhuska.
The contest will kick off at 7:00 at Ponca City High School.
