Seniors Lead the Way for OKWU Men
Big soccer matches upcoming in Bartlesville on Saturday, as both Oklahoma Wesleyan teams will begin their play in the NAIA National Tournament with home contests.
The Lady Eagles will host Lindsey Wilson College at 3:00 PM, while the Eagle men will be at home against Waldorf College at noon. The OKWU men are the No. 1 overall seed in the event that starts across the country on Saturday. Eagle head coach Jamie Peterson gives credit this season to his seniors.
We will have coverage from that soccer double-header this weekend and at the start of next week.
If either one of the Oklahoma Wesleyan teams win its first-round games – they would advance to the round of 16 at a neutral site the following weekend.
