Sooners Looking for O against Iowa State

Oklahoma head football coach Lincoln Riley met with the media on Tuesday ahead of a huge game for the Sooners at home against Iowa State. O

U is trying to bounce back after its first loss of the season on the road at Baylor this past Saturday. Oklahoma scored only 14-points in the loss, continuing a trend of the Sooner offense struggling more than in years past.

OU is No. 17 in the country in total offense. Riley cited lower-possession games, and his own team’s mistakes as the reasons for the lowered output.

OU dropped to No. 13 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, which came out on Tuesday evening. Oklahoma State moved up one spot to No. 9. Baylor came in at No. 11.
