Three OKWU Volleyball Players Honored By KCAC

Three Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles volleyball players were named to the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason volleyball team.  They are Emily Hollingsworth, Hilta Periera, and Alejandra Rivas.

Hollingsworth, a junior from Mansfield, Texas was named to the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2014.  She was a 2014 first team all-conference and led the MCAC in kills fast season with 448.

Pereira, a junior from Brazil, was named MCAC Newcomer of the Year in 2014.  She ended last season with 213 kills and a .388 hitting average.  Pereira had a game high seven aces against Southwestern College in 2014.
