Top-10 OKWU Soccer Match on ESPN
Big time event coming up for Oklahoma Wesleyan Athletics on Tuesday.
The Eagle men’s soccer club is at home against Missouri Valley – it is a top-10 matchup, and OKWU hopes a preview of a match the Eagles might see deep into the postseason.
OKWU comes into the match at 11-1 on the year. The Eagles have not lost since a 2-1 defeat against Baker during the first contest of the season on Sept. 1.
The game will also have a big-name with some TV coverage. ESPN3 – the online streaming service attached with the World Wide Leader in Sports will be in Bartlesville to stream the game live.
It will be available all around the world on the ESPN3 platform. OKWU Athletic Director Kirk Kelley.
The Eagles are No. 2 in the country, while Missouri Valley is No. 9.
Missouri Valley is 6-2-3 this season. A win for OKWU would give the Eagles a showcase win for the first time this year.
Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM off Silver Lake in Bartlesville.
