Wesleyan Christian School won its first OSSAA playoff game in nine years, as the Mustangs handled Sasakwa on Friday night in Bartlesville in round one of the Class C playoffs.

WCS over the Vikings 35-16.

It was 21-unanaswered points from late in the second quarter to midway through the third that ended up winning the game for Wesleyan Christian.

A good start helped, too. This 10-yard pass from Tyrel Cloud to Kael Siemers put WCS on top by two scores.

Cloud finished 8-13 passing for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

Leading 28-8, WCS would get its biggest lead of the night on a Kaden Fisher touchdown run, one of three touchdowns Fisher tallied on the evening.

Fisher had 21 carries for 101 yards and two scores on the ground with another through the air.

WCS improves to 8-3 with the win.

The Mustangs next travel to Mt. View Gotebo for the second round of Class C action next week.
