KWON is the voice of
the Bartlesville Bruins, with football play-by-play by Sports Director,
Tom Hauser, and game analysis by Thom Kirk. Tom is also the
voice of Bruins basketball, boys and girls. Bruin baseball, wrestling,
volleyball, track and softball are also offered on a limited basis.
AM 1400 also airs Bartlesville Indians American Legion baseball
games and select Warriors and Braves games throughout the summer.
KWON carries select Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball games, Oklahoma
State football & basketball, Kansas City Chiefs football, and
St. Louis Cardinal baseball . KWON also airs Sooner, Cowboy and
Golden Hurricane Coach’s Talk Shows.
KYFM is the voice of the Owasso Rams, with football play-by-play
by Travis Dunn with color commentary by Steve Mowery. Travis and
Steve also bring you the play-by-play for Rams basketball. Select
other sports are also covered on KYFM on a limited basis. FM 100.1
carries the University of Oklahoma Sooners during football and basketball
seasons.
KRIG is the voice of Nowata Ironmen and Dewey Bulldogger football
and basketball with play-by-play by Adam Hooper. FM 104.9 carries
University of Tulsa football and basketball broadcasts, as well
as Dallas Cowboy football.

American Legion
baseball begins Saturday, May 24 on AM 1400, KWON.
The No.
7 Oklahoma softball team placed seven players on the All-Big 12
teams that were announced on Friday evening. Amber Flores, Savannah
Long, D.J. Mathis, Samantha Ricketts and Lindsey Vandever highlighted
the Coaches All-Big 12 first team while seniors Susan Ogden and
Lauren Eckermann collected second team honors.

NJCAA Region II Baseball Tournament

Hall
of Fame Coach Dale Brown will be the featured speaker at the
Bartlesville Sports Commission's inaugural Bartlesville Athletic
Hall of Fame dinner on Saturday, May 17, at the Bartlesville
Community Center. Coach Brown is the second winningest coach
in Southeastern Conference history and is a member of the North
Dakota and Louisiana Sports Halls of Fame, and the North Dakota
and Louisiana Coaches Halls of Fame. Honorees to the inaugural
Hall of Fame will be Bob Kurland, Dallas Dobbs, Dee Ketchum,
Bailey Ricketts, and the 1967 College High basketball team.

- The
18th annual Bruin Soccer Camp is scheduled to take place May
27-30 at Robinwood fields. There will be age groups for 6 and
under, 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under.
The cost of the camp is $40. Campers will receive a free t-shirt
as well as four days worth of instruction. Camp hours will run
from 8:30 - 11:00am each day. Campers are asked to bring a soccer
ball and water. To sign up, you can download an application

- The
annual Tim Bart basketball camp will consist of three camps
this year. The High Intensity Camp is set for May 27-30 for
students in grades 7 through 9. The camp will cater to players
already on a school team or those planning to try out for one.
The camp will run from 9:00am until Noon each day. The cost
of the camp is $100 per participant and space is limited. The
Shooting Camp is set from June 2 - 5 for players in grades 3
through 8. The Shooting Camp will run from 1:00pm until 4:00pm
each day. Cost is $80 per participant. The Fundamental Camp
is slated from June 9 -12 from 8:30am until 11:30am each day.
This camp isfor students in grades 3 through 8 with a cost of

- The
American Legion Baseball Golf Tournament is set for Friday,
June 13 at Adams Municipal Golf Course. The event is a four-person
scramble with an entry fee of $55 per player, which covers your
green fee, cart, range balls, and lunch. There will be cash
prizes to the top 3 teams($1,000 in prize money to be given
away!). There will be prizes for longest drive and closest
to the pin. Hole ponsorships are available at $100 each. For

- The
2008 Lady Bruin Volleyball Camp is scheduled for June 23-25
in the Bartlesville High School Fieldhouse. The camp is for
female players from grades 6 through 12. Two sessions will be
held each day of the camp. The first session, for 6th through
8th graders, will be held from 9:00am until 11:30am, while the
second session, for 9th through 12th graders, will run from
1:00pm through 4:00pm. The registration fee for the camp, which
includes a t-shirt, is $45 per player. For more information,

- The
annual Bartlesville Bruins Football Camp is set for July 21-23
at Custer Stadium. Tuition for the camp is $25. The camp is
open to 8th and 9th graders and sign-ups will be held the first
day of the camp. Camp hours will run from 9:00am until 11:00am
each day. The Bruins will hold a Summer Pride weightlifting
and conditioning off-season program this summer beginning on
June 16. The program will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and
Thursdays from 8:30am until 11:30am each day. Registration will
be taken on the first day of the program, June 16, in the Bartlesville
High School weight room. The cost to participate in Summer Pride
