Search for BHS FB Coach Continues
The search for a new head football coach at Bartlesville High School is still underway. BHS made the announcement nearly two weeks ago that former head man Harry Wright was resigning after four seasons with the Bruins.
During last week’s Bruin Buzz program Bartlesville High Athletics and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck talked about Wright’s tenure and departure.
Dilbeck said there will be a group of community members involved in the search. This is only the second time since 2019 that Bartlesville has hired a football coach, as former coaches in Jason Sport and Wright were both in that spot for the past seven seasons.
Wright went 16-30 with two playoff wins, but was winless in the playoffs and only 6-16 over the past two years.
