Bruin Football Playoff Scenarios

Bartlesville High football will have its final regular season game, but it will not be the Bruin’s last game of the year.

BHS heads to Capitol Hill on Friday night. With a win, Bartlesville will assure itself fifth place in 6A-II District 2. That means the Bruins would travel to the 4th place finisher from District 1.

Not a lot has been decided in the western half District, but Choctaw or Piedmont appear to be the most likely options. Stillwater plays Southmoore and Putnam City takes on Piedmont this weekend, leaving a lot in doubt.

The Bruins are coming off a 41-0 win at Putnam City West the past Thursday. Head coach Harry Wright talked with KWON postgame

If Stillwater is able to beat Southmoore on Friday, who the Bruins play will come down to PCO v. Piedmont.

With a PCO win, Bartlesville would travel to Piedmont. With a Piedmont win BHS would then go to Choctaw.

However, with a Southmoore upset of Stillwater, there would be a three-way tie for 2nd-4th in the District and it would come down to point margins.
