No games slated this weekend for Bartlesville’s summer baseball team, as the Doenges Toyota Indians can see the end of their season on the horizon.

The Tribe will not play any games over the weekend, giving Bartlesville just its second weekend off since the start of the summer more than six weeks ago.

Despite a bit of well-earned down time, it will not stay that way.

Bartlesville has games scheduled at home on both Wednesday and Thursday of next week in the Stan Musial World Series. Meanwhile the Indians will then host RBI Native for a handful of games on Friday and Saturday.

Those four days’ worth of games will set the Indians up for the Oklahoma State Legion World Series in Ada the weekend following.

The Indians are 20-9-2 on the summer.
