Looking Back on the Indians' Historic State Title

The Doenges Toyota Indians made history on Sunday after winning the state legion championship in Ada.
The Indians went 3-1 in the state tournament after beating McLoud on Thursday on a walkoff walk and a 15-5 win over the Ada Braves to advance to the finals.
The Tribe dropped their first game in the finals to Ada, 14-7, to send the tournament to a winner-take-all contest. Bartlesville won it, 9-6, to win the state championship.
Osborne becomes the third coach in Indians history to win a state championship.
The title is Bartlesville's first since 1978 and fourth in program history.
The Indians will represent the state of Oklahoma in the Mid-South Regional in Cherryville, NC, starting on Aug. 5. Bartlesville will be paired with state champions out of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
