High school hoops back into full swing across the area, as teams begin their final two weeks of regular season action in northeast Oklahoma on Tuesday evening.

For Bartlesville High, the Lady Bruins and Bruins make their first of two remaining road trips to Oklahoma City. Both clubs take on Edmond Santa Fe in a District double-header.

The BHS girls won but guys lost in the twin bill against the Wolves in Bartlesville back in December.

For the Bartlesville girls, a chance to stay hot. BHS has vaulted itself into the middle of the 6A District 3 standings with wins over Broken Arrow and Jenks since Christmas break.

It culminated in the blowout win over the Trojans at Jenks on Friday night, 53-35.

Head coach Justyn Shaw talks about what has led to the BHS resurgence.

The Lady Bruins are now 11-7 on the year. BHS is 4-6 in District 3, good for fifth place and two games back of third.

Taking care of the basketball has been key for the Lady Bruins since Christmas. BHS has averaged three less turnovers per game since the start of the spring semester.

Shaw talks about why.

Girls tip at 6:00 with the guys at 7:30.

Bartlesville at Edmond Santa Fe, we will have the double-header for you on KWON and KWONTV.com Tuesday evening. Pregame about 5:40.
