Bruin Boys Golf Qualifies for State

Bartlesville High boy’s golf, just like the girls, are state bound, as the Bruins finished fourth on Monday at 6A Regionals at Bailey Ranch in Owasso.

BHS is peaking at the right time, as Bartlesville got great performances from junior Jay Wasemiller and sophomore Carter Sauer. Wasemiller finished fourth individually with a two-round score of 145 and two over par. Sauer finished at 156.

All the varsity golfers for the BHS girls and boys will now get to play in the 6A State Tournament, which will start next week for the girls and the week following for the boys at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville.
