Bruins and Lady Bruins Split at Santa Fe

Had a ton of high school basketball across the area on Tuesday night Bartlesville High split on the road at Edmond Santa Fe, as there are only three District games now remaining on the schedule.

BHS girls beat up on the Lady Wolves, 64-39.

Bartlesville controlled the game from the opening tip. BHS forced turnovers and got easy looks. It may have been the best night of the season for Shaylyn Ishem. Ishem had 13 points, including these two off a Bartlesville steal.

Sami Shaeffer led the way with 21 points. It was Shaeffer’s 18th game in double-figures and 10th game of 20 points or more in her senior campaign.

Bartlesville improves to 12-7 overall.

On the guy’s side it was just the opposite. Edmond Santa Fe got out to an early lead and cruised to an 82-39 win.

Bruin guys struggled to hang on to the ball and get rebounds against a big and tall Wolf lineup.

This three from Sutton Huff late in the first half helped BHS keep pace.

No Bruins finished in double-figures.

Bartlesville guys drop to 7-12.

Both teams are next in action again at home on Friday in a tough double-header against Putnam City North.
