Bruins Host Muskogee Early Wednesday
Bartlesville High will finally get some basketball in on Wednesday night, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins will host Muskogee a day later than originally scheduled, but also a bit earlier in the evening than usual.
Both BHS teams only got in a few of their scheduled games this past weekend.
The Lady Bruins handled Okmulgee during their one-game in the Miami Tournament at NEO. Meanwhile the Bruin guys split a pair of games with Tulsa McClain and Will Rogers this past weekend.
On the guy’s side, head coach Jake Christenson continues to preach physicality and toughness as the keys to Bartlesville taking steps forward. Christenson says the Bruins need to have a stiff upper lip early in games
Offensively, the four weeks since winter break is probably the best the Bruin guys have scored the ball in three seasons.
Christenson says he feels good about his group shooting the ball.
A 5:30 tip for the girls, with a 7:00 start for the Bruin guys. The double-header will be varsity only and one hour earlier than usual.
