Bullpups at Home, Looking to Keep Rolling

If you’re looking for something to do tonight besides doom-scrolling, the Caney gym has you covered. The Caney Bullpups and Lady Bullpups are home tonight hosting Leon Bluestem, with the Lions and Lady Lions rolling into town still searching for traction this season. Tip-offs go down on Caney’s home floor, with the girl's game at 6 and boys to follow. The Bullpups have been pretty comfortable reminding teams why home court matters.

The boys come in at 11–5 and have won two of their last three, including that heart-attack special last Friday. A 66–65 overtime win against Neodesha that probably shaved a few years off the fan base. Momentum? Yes. Stress levels? Also yes. Meanwhile, the Lady Bullpups, also 11–5, are trying to snap a four-game skid and would really enjoy tonight being the reset button. Leon Bluestem’s boys are still hunting for their first win of the season, and the Lady Lions have just one victory to their name, back on January 9th. On paper, it looks favorable for Caney which, of course, is exactly why you still have to play the games.
