City Championship Starts Saturday
Bartlesville is going to crown a city champion for golf this weekend, as the annual Dink’s Pitt BBQ Jim Curd Sr. City Golf Championship starts its two-day run.
Saturday will take place at Hillcrest Country Club with Sunday at the newly-named Boots Hollow Golf Course.
Last year with Boots Hollow under renovation, both days of the event were at Hillcrest.
Terry Hughes is the defending city champ. Hughes and his son Nathan have won each of the last two city crows. Hughes won his first since city championship since 1995 last summer.
KWON will have coverage of the city title both days with check-ins on AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1 starting around 3:30-3:45 PM thanks to Caregiver Services, Wasemiller Insurance, Randy Lawerence Lawn Care, Boots Hollow Golf Course, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66.
