Dewey Basketball Star Signs With OKWU

Dewey basketball standout Kooper Crawford will continue his basketball career at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
 
Crawford made the commitment official during a signing on Wednesday afternoon.

Crawford was a star for Dewey's basketball team. In just his senior season alone, Crawford was named the defensive player of the year in the Northeastern Valley Conference, a Northeast Oklahoma All-Star and an Oklahoma Coaches Association (OCA) 3A All-Star.

For OKWU, the Eagles are coming off a 30-win season and a regular season and tournament conference championship in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The Eagles advanced to the round of 16 for the third year in a row in the NAIA national tournament.
