Dewey Falls to Chandler in Season Finale
It was a tough night for Dewey football, as the Bulldoggers saw their season officially come to a close on Friday night at home.
The Bulldoggers were topped by Chandler on senior night, 38-7.
Dewey had trouble stopping Chandler's ground attack from the start, the Lions scored an 80-yard touchdown run on their first offensive play. Dewey got down 21-0 before answering back.
That was all the offense Dewey could muster on the night, Chandler held Dewey scoreless in the second half to put the game away. The Bulldoggers were able to move the ball offensively throughout the night but had trouble finding the endzone.
The loss officially ends Dewey's season, as they have been eliminated from playoff contention. The Bulldoggers finish the first year under Scott Sapulpa, 4-6.
