Dewey Football Focusing on New Players

Dewey Bulldogger football continues to roll through summer workouts and passing league action.
 
Dewey has competed in both Pawhuska's and Rejoice Christian's passing leagues to polish up their product this fall. Due to rain throughout this week, Dewey did not compete in a 7-on-7 event Tuesday night.
 
The Bulldoggers have a handful of players returning from last season despite graduating nine seniors. They also have around 12 freshmen suited up for this coming season. Head coach Scott Sapulpa talked about the importance of newcomers getting reps and understanding the varsity process.
 
On top of new players this coming fall, Dewey has added a handful of new coaches. The Bulldoggers have added a handful of new coaches, both offense and defense, to prepare for the fall.
 
Sapulpa talked about the dynamic of the full coaching staff.
 
Dewey opens their season in Vinita on Aug. 27.
