Dewey football is back in action on Thursday night for a crucial road district contest against Sperry.

The Bulldoggers have been strong the last two games, with blowout wins over Westville and Tulsa Webster. Dewey is 3-4 overall and 2-2 in district play.

Head coach Scott Sapulpa talked about the improvements on the offensive line.

The running attack has been established over the last two games, with back-to-back dominant performances on the ground leading to two big district wins.

Next up, Dewey heads on the road to Sperry, who has an identical district slate to Dewey's. They have convincing wins over Westville and Webster with two blowout losses to Metro Christian and Sequoyah (Tahlequah).

Sapulpa talked about seeing Sperry in Pawhuska back in August, and playing assignment football on defense.

Kickoff from Sperry is set for 7 p.m. on Thursday night. Coverage can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG, with video coverage on KRIGTV.com.
