Huskies Set for Sr. Night Showdown vs. Quapaw

The Pawhuska Huskies are one of a few teams across northeast Oklahoma who have elected to play in a potential heavy rain storm on Friday night. Following a much needed bye week, Coach Matt Hennesy said his team has had a good week of practice and his team is prepared for the task that lays ahead. That task, to win a senior night contest against Quapaw.
While the potential for rain could alter Quapaw's gameplan, Hennesy said the Wildcats mirror what Pawhuska does, both offensively and defensively. He says this should be an advantage heading into the contest.
The bye week allowed Pawhuska to continue installing a few new looks to the offense, but with the impending weather Hennesy says the Huskies will lean on the run game. He also looks at this game as an opportunity to improve in all facets of the game.
Pawhuska's home game with Quapaw will be a 7 o' clock kickoff. Pregame coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
