Indians Get Glen Winget Win

The Doenges Toyota Indians have gotten off to a 1-0 start in the 67th Glen Winget Tournament, as the Tribe will try to get to 2-0 on Friday evening with fireworks to follow.
Bartlesville beat up on Mountain Home, Arkansas 7-1 at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium.
The Indians rallied from a 1-0 deficit with six in the bottom of the third, which accounted for nearly all their runs on the night.
Bartlesville batted around with nine coming to the plate in the 3rd. Grant Goldman had the big blast, a double to the wall that drove in two.
The Indians got another double from Easton Davis and a single from Rhett Leu in the frame placed around three free passes.
The Tribe got a great outing on the mound from Kamen Sprague, who threw six innings of one run ball. He allowed two hits and had nine strikeouts.
Goldman then got another double to drive in the Indians only other run of the night in the fifth.
The Indians got the win despite some issues defensively. Bartlesville surrendered the only run of the game on two errors in the first and had two more throughout the game.
The win moves Bartlesville to 17-7-2. The Indians have won three in a row and will move on to day two of the pool play against the Elk City Mudcats tonight.
A scheduled 7:15 first pitch, a bit earlier than Thursday night to accommodate the fireworks scheduled for about 9:45 on Friday.
A game we will broadcast for you on KWON and KWONTV.com.
